Booking

How far in advance should I book? Bridal bookings: 6–12 months ahead, especially for October–April dates. Occasion bookings can often be accommodated with shorter notice.

How do I secure my booking? Fill out the contact page and I'll be in touch within 48 hours with a quote. Your booking is secured once your 30% deposit is paid.

How much is the deposit, and when's the balance due? A 30% non-refundable deposit secures your booking. For bridal and occasions, the balance is due 7 days before your date. For editorial and shoots, it's due within 48 hours of completion.

Can I add someone to my booking on the day? If I have time available, yes, I'll send a separate invoice on the day. Anything not agreed in advance can't be guaranteed.

Cancellations & Transfers

Transfers: Free with 14+ days notice, subject to availability. Your deposit carries across.

Cancelling within 14 days: Deposit forfeited, no further charge.

Cancelling within 7 days: Full amount payable, non-refundable.

Trials

Do I need a bridal trial? Yes, for every wedding booking. It's where we perfect your look together before the day.

When should I book it? Around 2 months out is ideal, but any time before your wedding works.

What should I bring? Inspiration images, and let me know of any allergies or sensitivities. Trials run 30 minutes longer than a standard appointment to allow for adjustments.

What if I'm not happy with the look? Just tell me. We won't finish the trial until you love what you see.

On the Day

How long does bridal makeup take? 60 minutes, since we've already perfected the look at your trial. I allow an extra 15 minutes at the end for touch-ups.

What time will you arrive? 10 minutes before your scheduled start, to set up.

How should I prep my skin? Cleanse and apply a light, suitable moisturiser beforehand.

How many people can you do in one morning? Up to 6, including the bride. Each application takes 60 minutes, so we'll plan your timeline together at booking.

Can I add services on the day? To keep the morning on schedule, everything's agreed and invoiced in advance. Get in touch ahead of time if your needs change.

Travel

Travel within 10km of Tauranga CBD is included in every booking. Beyond that, it's $1.20/km return. Overnight or destination bookings are quoted separately.
